Watch this video that shows why you should join AAUW.
Membership is open to all graduates who hold an associate or baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university or degree from a qualified institution. Current college or university students may apply for an affiliate member status, which gives them information and support at a reduced rate. Members come from various backgrounds and represent a range of occupations, ages, and interests. The members of AAUW promote education and equity for all women and girls.
Monthly branch meetings are held generally in the evening from September through May, featuring programs relating to the mission of equity for women and current topics of interest. There are also small groups that meet on a regular basis in members’ homes. Membership dues include branch, Illinois, and national memberships. Members receive quarterly state and national publications and a monthly branch newsletter.
To join our branch, complete the Membership Form and mail the form with a check for $78 to the address on the form. During January through March 15, new members get half off their national and branch dues, bringing the total to $44.00. After March 15, $78.00 will pay for membership through June 30, 2016, 15 months of membership for the price of 12!
