AAUW Naperville Area announces a new $5,000 scholarship for a 2021-2022 graduating young woman from Naperville School District #203 or Indian Prairie School District #204. Through the generosity of an AAUW Naperville member, the Cariya Reed Legacy Scholarship honors Cariya Reed, a young girl whose life ended tragically due to domestic violence before her dreams could be fulfilled. The heroic efforts of medical personnel prompted the designation of this scholarship to be awarded to a young woman whose future includes becoming a medical professional, especially one dedicated to emergency medicine.
