Many qualified applicants competed for AAUW Naperville Area’s 2014 Angeline Gale Scholarship. Amanda Lesley is the deserving awardee. She is working as a school nurse, caring for her one-year-old son and taking courses at Northern Illinois University to complete her Bachelor of Nursing degree. Ms. Lesley impressed the scholarship committee with her drive to reach her goal, and perhaps to eventually earn a master’s degree as well.
