AAUW Naperville Area’s community programs educate on important issues and encourage action for positive change. Events are open to the public unless noted. We host a mix of in-person and virtual events. Please check frequently for updates.

2022 Community Events Calendar

Sept. 10, 2022 (Sat) 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – AAUW Naperville Area Al Fresco member and prospective member picnic at the DuPage River Park shelter, 808 Royce Road, Naperville.

Aug. 4 – 6, 2022 (Thurs-Sat) – AAUW Naperville Area Used Books & Media Sale Fundraiser. Our biggest community event and fundraiser of the year returns to Washington Junior High School Gym (south door), 201 N. Washington St., Naperville.

Aug. 1, 2022 (Mon) 9 a.m. – Noon – AAUW Naperville Area Used Books & Media Collection Drive at Washington Junior High Gym, 201 N. Washington St., Naperville.

July 23, 2022 (Sat) 9 a.m. – Noon – AAUW Naperville Area Used Books & Media Collection Drive at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville.

July 9, 2022 (Sat) 9 a.m. – Noon – AAUW Naperville Area Used Books & Media Collection Drive at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville.

June 16, 2022 (Thurs evening) – AAUW Naperville Area Bake Sale at the Naperville Municipal Band Concert in Central Park, 104 E. Benton Ave., Naperville. Come out to enjoy an evening of great music and delicious baked goods to support AAUW Naperville Area.

May 26, 2022 (Thurs) 1 – 5 p.m. – Sip, Shop & Celebrate Spring! Fundraiser at J.McLaughlin, 630-300-5147, 216 S. Main St., Naperville. 15% of sales will benefit AAUW Naperville Area. Shop in-store or by phone.

May 25 – 26, 2022 (Weds-Thurs) Virtual – AAUW National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL).

May 14, 2022 (Sat) 9:30 – 11:45 a.m. – AAUW Naperville Area Spring Awards Brunch, Cress Creek Country Club, 1215 Royal St. George Drive, Naperville. Tickets $30.

May 6 – 7, 2022 (Fri-Sat) – AAUW Illinois State Convention, Hilton Doubletree Lisle.

Apr. 12, 2022 (Tues) 7 p.m. on Zoom – The Truth About Election Integrity in DuPage and Will County community webinar with Becky Simon, President, League of Women Voters of Naperville. Hosted by AAUW Naperville Area.

Mar. 8, 2022 (Tues) 7 p.m. on Zoom – Finding Home: Personal Stories of Women Immigrants, Asylum Seekers, and Refugees community webinar.

Feb. 8, 2022 (Tues) 7 p.m. on Zoom – Combating Disinformation at Local School Board Meetings community webinar co-hosted by AAUW suburban branches: Naperville Area, Aurora Area, Batavia-Geneva-St. Charles, Downers Grove Area, Lombard Area, Northwest Suburban, and Wheaton-Glen Ellyn.

Jan. 27, 2022 (Thurs) 7 p.m. on Zoom – Confronting the Rise of School Board Disruptions  community webinar hosted by Indivisible IllinoisIllinois Families for Public SchoolsSocial Justice Alliance -Indivisible IL, AAUW Naperville Area, and others.
