Our community events educate on important issues and encourage action for positive change. We sponsor in-person and virtual events. Times listed are Central Time. Events are free and open to the public unless noted.

June 12 – 14, 2025 (Thurs-Sat) – AAUW Naperville Area Used Book & Media Sale. Our big community event and fundraiser begins at noon on June 12! Washington Junior High School Gym (door 4), 201 N. Washington St., Naperville.

Apr. 8, 2025 (Tues) 7 PM – Vision 1948 presents Generative AI for Everyone. Program details to be announced.

Mar. 22, 2025 – 2025 Woman of the Year award nominations due.

Mar. 19, 2025 (Tues) 7 PM Virtual – Casting a Historic Vote: Suffrage for Women in Illinois with Jeanne Schultz Angel, Naper Settlement. Co-sponsored with League of Women Voters of Naperville and the National Congress of Jewish Women Chicago North Shore. Registration is required for this free community program.

Mar. 15, 2025 – Angeline Gale Scholarship and AAUW Naperville Area STEM Scholarship applications due.

Feb. 11, 2025 (Tues) 7 PM Virtual – Student Debt: Facts, Resources, and Ways to Avoid, with Dr. Linda Dagradi. Registration is required for this free community program.

Jan. 14, 2025 (Tues) 7 PM Virtual – From Investigative Reporter to Master Teacher: Meet Alba Mendiola. Alba Mendiola is an AAUW Career Grant recipient. Co-sponsored with ALMAS (Alliance of Latinos Motivating Action in the Suburbs). Registration is required for this free community program.

Dec. 10, 2024 (Tues) 6:30 – 8:30 PM – In The Spirit, White Eagle Owners Club, 4265 White Eagle Dr., Aurora, Illinois. Tickets $25.

Nov. 12, 2024 (Tues) 7 PM Virtual – Embracing Our Third Act: Menopause & Longevity. Registration is required for this free community program. Women and allies are welcome.

Oct. 8, 2024 (Tues) 6:30 PM social; 7 PM program – What’s Your Dignity Index? Seats are limited for this free community interactive program at Naper Blvd Library, 2035 Naper Blvd, Naperville. Registration is required.

Sept. 14, 2024 (Sat) 9:30 – 11:30 AM – Autumn Action and Morning Meetup with AAUW Naperville Area at the DuPage River Park Picnic Shelter, 808 Royce Road, Naperville. Members and prospective members welcome.

May 30 – June 1, 2024 – AAUW National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL), University of Maryland, College Park.
