AAUW Naperville Area is pleased to offer two $5,000 scholarships in 2023 to women working towards earning their undergraduate degrees. Joan Schaeffer, Scholarship Chair, notes, “Across the globe, women face many challenges. Empowering women is one of the greatest ways to meet these challenges, and education is one of the greatest ways to both empower women and enable them to develop the leadership qualities needed to make meaningful contributions within their careers and the community at large. We hope these scholarships will assist women in accelerating the completion of their educational journeys, allowing them to move on to successful careers, where they will be appreciated, respected, and valued.”
