It takes a village to do great things. One of our great things is the AAUW Naperville Area Used Book and Media Sale and it is time to activate our village! This is our largest fundraiser and enables scholarships, NCCWSL sponsorships and other advocacy to advance equity for women and girls.
The Book Sale will be June 13 – 15 at Washington Jr. High School, 201 N. Washington St., Naperville. Book drives will be May 11 & June 8, 9 – Noon at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa, Naperville, and June 10, 9 – Noon at Washington Jr. High School.
Member Volunteers Needed
We need the support of the entire branch. If you can’t move boxes, you can help keep books in order, work at the check out or answer questions.

Students who need hours for service such as scouts or high school students are welcome. Requirements:
– Students must be age 16+ yrs. Special consideration may be given if student is 15 yrs old (with written parental consent emailed to anne.v.swanson@gmail.com).
– Students must be able to lift and move boxes of books, DVDs & vinyl for this event.
– Students will receive community service hours for time worked. Students can sign up for multiple shifts.
