AAUW Naperville Area is pleased to offer one $5,000 scholarship in 2024 to women working towards earning their undergraduate degree. Joan Schaeffer, Scholarship Chair, notes, “Across the globe, women face many challenges. Empowering women is one of the greatest ways to meet these challenges, and education is one of the greatest ways to both empower women and enable them to develop the leadership qualities needed to make meaningful contributions within their careers and the community at large. We hope this scholarship will assist the recipient in accelerating the completion of their educational journey, allowing them to move on to a successful career, where they will be appreciated, respected, and valued.”
